Bronwyn Joslyn
Sometimes you fall into your passion as I did when my family purchased a Child Care Centre. My sister and Mum were already child care professionals and I was to assist with the ‘paperwork’.
It wasn’t long before I discovered that my day was mainly spent working alongside children and I had a real interest in their care and education. I also enjoyed working and collaborating with families.
For the past 20 years, I have worked in many roles across the industry; as a director and program support facilitator also working in schools, for private companies and in the community sector.
In training, I have enjoyed many experiences including my roles as School-based Programs Manager working with Year 11 and 12 students, Training Manager of a private Registered Training Organisation where I could share my passion with like-minded educators, specialising in Children's Services training and support programs.
My experiences have seen me continually reflect and research my personal philosophy and pedagogy. I am always excited to meet other educators and professionals who are commited to their work and those who can follow through by supporting and demonstrating high levels of ethical practice and professionalism.
I am one of the lucky ones I think, as I really do enjoy my work in Early Childhood education and training and the challenges it brings.
I have always looked forward to the opportunities to work with my sister in any capacity and I am happy to be working with Dee again.
We look forward to continuing to build a strong professional team at 'learning happens'.
